Strategy & Operations Lead

Start Timeframe: Fall/Winter 2018

re:work is hiring! We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about, well, operating a business.

We’re a young nonprofit, and you’ll be the second full-time hire. You’ll work directly with the CEO, Founder, and the board.

So, what would you be doing?

  • Developing a sustainable revenue model and ideas for new ways to make money

  • Designing analytics & reporting that will drive our business forward

  • Maintaining and tweaking internal processes to make sure we’re running efficiently

  • Financial forecasting, budgeting, & modeling

  • Managing people operations, including employee compensation/benefits

  • Evaluating internal software tools on efficacy and necessity

What do we need from you?

  • Curiosity. You want to learn new skills/things, and put in extra time to do so

  • Honesty. You are truthful with everyone at re:work (including yourself), even when it hurts

  • Execution. You deliver results on time and under budget

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years in progressive operations/strategy roles (software and/or nonprofit organizations)

OR

  • 3+ years in business strategy & operations consulting role

  • Experience with financial modeling/forecasting in Excel

  • Experience managing direct reports

  • Experience coordinating projects/tasks across several departments

  • Knowledge of SaaS/cloud computing industries

  • Track record of creative problem solving

Bonus points for:

  • Sales experience!

  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Trello, Quickbooks, SQL

  • A diverse professional and educational background

  • Entrepreneurial experience

  • MBA (if you got real-life work experience there)
