Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how reWORK TRAINING collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through its websites, applications, workforce programs, community activities, fundraising and partnership work, and MissionXP. The MissionXP Data and AI Notice provides additional plain-language information for MissionXP users. reWORK TRAINING owns and operates MissionXP. GTM Systems Advisory is separate and does not receive MissionXP personal information merely because Shelton Banks is associated with both activities.

1. Scope

This policy applies when reWORK determines why and how personal information is processed. A partner-specific agreement or notice may supplement this policy. Third-party websites, payment processors, learning platforms, and employer systems have their own privacy practices.

2. Personal Information We Collect

  • Contact and identity information, such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, age or eligibility information, and account identifiers.
  • Program and career information, such as applications, resumes, education, employment history, goals, skills, competencies, attendance, assessments, coaching notes, assignments, progress, and placement milestones.
  • MissionXP activity, such as outreach records, contacts, relationship status, communications metadata, meetings, referrals, Champion interactions, opportunities, follow-up activity, and user-entered notes.
  • Communications and content, such as messages, form submissions, survey responses, support requests, uploaded files, and community posts.
  • Partner, Champion, volunteer, donor, and employer information, including affiliation, role, participation, commitments, introductions, and engagement history.
  • Donation and transaction information. Payment-card details are generally processed by payment providers rather than stored by reWORK.
  • Device, log, and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and interaction data.
  • Derived information and AI-assisted outputs, such as suggested next actions, summaries, classifications, indicators, or recommendations based on information in MissionXP.
  • Sensitive information only when necessary and authorized, such as demographic information used for program administration or reporting.

3. Sources of Information

reWORK may receive personal information directly from you; from staff, coaches, Champions, volunteers, employers, schools, funders, and program partners; from service providers and integrations; from public professional sources; and automatically through websites and applications. A person who provides information about someone else must have authority to do so and must respect that person’s privacy.

4. How We Use Personal Information

  • Review applications, determine program eligibility, enroll participants, and deliver training and support.
  • Operate MissionXP, authenticate users, provide coaching workflows, document activity, measure progress, and improve program delivery.
  • Facilitate authorized introductions, mentoring, Champion support, referrals, and employment-related opportunities.
  • Communicate about accounts, programs, events, donations, partnerships, services, and opportunities.
  • Analyze program performance, prepare reports, evaluate outcomes, conduct research, and support fundraising. reWORK uses aggregated or deidentified information when individual identification is unnecessary.
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot, enforce agreements, and protect people, systems, and rights.
  • Meet legal, tax, grant, audit, recordkeeping, and reporting obligations.
  • Use information for another purpose with notice and any consent required by law.

5. MissionXP Data and Visibility

MissionXP is part of reWORK’s program operating and measurement system. Access follows role-based permissions. Participants are informed which information is visible to reWORK staff, coaches, Champions, employers, or partners. A person’s full record is not available to every community member or partner.

Coaches and authorized reWORK staff may access participant records to deliver and evaluate the program. Champions, employers, and partners receive only the information needed for an authorized activity, introduction, referral, opportunity, or reporting obligation. Funders ordinarily receive aggregated or deidentified results unless a different disclosure is authorized and lawful.

6. Artificial Intelligence

reWORK may use artificial intelligence or automated tools to help organize information, draft summaries, identify patterns, suggest follow-up steps, support coaching, or improve the user experience. AI output may be incomplete or wrong and should be reviewed by a person before it affects a participant or another individual. Unless separately disclosed and legally permitted, reWORK will not use MissionXP to make a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, such as a final employment or program-eligibility decision.

7. How We Disclose Personal Information

  • Within reWORK TRAINING, to staff, contractors, coaches, and volunteers who need the information for authorized work.
  • To service providers that host, secure, analyze, support, or deliver websites, MissionXP, communications, learning, donations, and other operations under appropriate contractual restrictions.
  • To Champions, employers, schools, funders, and program partners as needed for an authorized program purpose, at your direction, under an agreement, or with consent when required.
  • To government authorities, courts, auditors, insurers, professional advisers, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and systems.
  • In connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, transfer, or similar organizational transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
  • With the public only when you make information public or authorize a story, testimonial, profile, or other public use.

reWORK does not sell personal information for money.

8. Cookies and Online Analytics

reWORK may use essential cookies, analytics technologies, and marketing tools, including Google Analytics and LinkedIn lead-generation services. These tools may collect identifiers and usage information. You can adjust your browser settings and, where offered, use the site’s cookie controls.

9. Retention

reWORK retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including active program delivery, participant support, outcome measurement, grant and tax records, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Retention depends on the record type, sensitivity, relationship status, contractual requirements, and law. reWORK deletes or deidentifies information when it is no longer needed.

10. Security

reWORK uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature and sensitivity of the information it holds. No system is completely secure. Users must protect account credentials, use approved devices and channels, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of marketing; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. These rights may have exceptions.

Submit a request to info@reworktraining.org. reWORK may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where the law permits. reWORK will not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option, although reWORK may still send nonmarketing account or program messages.

12. Children and Young People

The public website is not directed to children under 13, and reWORK does not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without legally required authorization. MissionXP and reWORK programs are available only to people who meet the stated eligibility requirements.

13. International Users

reWORK is based in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. People outside the United States should contact reWORK with questions about processing that applies to them.

14. Changes to This Policy

reWORK may update this policy as its services and legal obligations change. The posted policy will show the effective date. reWORK will provide additional notice or obtain consent if a material change requires it.
