3 Ways to Pay It Forward


  • Support current or past candidates through personal and professional growth
  • Two 30-45 minute meetings per/month


  • Serve as subject matter expert and on-call resource for our candidates
  • Help re:WORK extend our support and education beyond the end of the program


  • Lead training sessions and help facilitate mock interviews for our candidates
  • Work to shape our curriculum to optimally prepare candidates for roles

Onboarding Steps

Complete the Application Form here. Please note there is a minimum commitment of 4 hours per quarter.

We host monthly onboarding sessions for our volunteers to attend.

Levels of Commitment

General Support: Participate in Mock Interviews/Sales Challenge, help facilitate class and social events, job shadowing for candidates.

Speaker Opportunities: Lead class sessions on general and sales-oriented career development topics as a guest speaker

Leadership Roles: Play a leadership role in helping to evolve what our mentorship, training and subject matter expertise volunteer programs provide


Create workplaces that reflect the diversity of our neighborhoods.

We are a non-profit organization working to empower Black and Latinx individuals by providing job training, placement opportunities starting in the Chicago area. Our goal is for 25,000 people from these communities, who we know have been overlooked thus far at higher income levels as well as lower education rates, to collectively make $30 billion in salary over 20 years!


Re:work training envisions cities where economic freedom isn’t determined by zip code and meaningful employment is accessible to all.


Though our candidate training program and corporate partnershop, we aim to empower 25 000 Black, Latinx, People of Color to cumulatively make $30 billion in income over the next 20 years.

We offer a unique opportunity to enhance your company’s workplace culture through volunteer engagement. All we ask is for your time talent and or treasure.

Our programs connect volunteers with diverse overlooked professionals. Volunteers share experiences, networks, and develop greater loyalty and commitment to their employer when they are involved in meaningful social activity beyond work.
