Website Terms of Use
Effective September 19, 2026
These Website Terms of Use govern access to reworktraining.org and any reWORK TRAINING webpage that links to these terms. They do not replace the MissionXP Participant and User Terms, program agreements, donor-platform terms, or a written agreement between reWORK TRAINING and a partner.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. If you use the website for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.
2. About reWORK TRAINING and MissionXP
reWORK TRAINING is a nonprofit workforce development organization. reWORK TRAINING owns and operates MissionXP, a technology product used to support and measure aspects of reWORK programs, including competencies, outreach, relationships, coaching activity, Champion support, opportunities, and placement milestones. GTM Systems Advisory is a separate project and is not part of reWORK TRAINING or MissionXP for purposes of these terms.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the website for lawful personal, educational, charitable, partnership, or other authorized purposes. reWORK grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access the website and view its content for those purposes.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Break any law, violate another person’s rights, or use the website for fraud or deception.
- Interfere with the website, bypass security controls, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Use automated tools in a manner that burdens the website, evades access controls, or collects personal information without authorization.
- Copy, modify, sell, sublicense, frame, mirror, or commercially exploit website content except as the law or written permission allows.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with reWORK TRAINING.
- Submit confidential, sensitive, unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful material.
5. Information You Submit
You are responsible for information and material you submit. You represent that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to provide it, and that providing it does not violate another person’s rights or a confidentiality obligation. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, health records, government identification documents, or other highly sensitive information through a general website form unless reWORK specifically provides a secure method and asks for it.
You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant reWORK a nonexclusive license to host, reproduce, display, and use that material only as reasonably necessary to respond to you, operate the website, administer programs, comply with law, and perform another purpose disclosed when you submit it. Publicity, testimonials, participant stories, and promotional use require a separate authorization when applicable.
6. Intellectual Property
The website, MissionXP name and product, program materials, curriculum, text, graphics, logos, and other content are owned by reWORK TRAINING or used under license. Except for the limited permission in these terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may link to public pages in a lawful manner that does not imply endorsement.
7. Donations and Third-Party Services
Donation, payment, learning, communications, analytics, social-media, and other services may be provided by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use their services. A link or integration does not mean reWORK controls or endorses every third-party statement, product, or practice.
8. Educational and Career Information
Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. Participation in a reWORK program, use of MissionXP, coaching, introductions, or completion of activities does not guarantee admission, employment, compensation, promotion, funding, or any other outcome. Employers and other third parties make their own decisions.
9. Availability and Changes
reWORK may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the website. reWORK may update these terms by posting a revised version and a new effective date. If a change materially affects registered users, reWORK will provide additional notice when required by law.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided as available and without warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. reWORK does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free. These exclusions do not apply where the law does not permit them.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, reWORK TRAINING and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the website. reWORK’s total liability for a claim relating to the public website will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars or the amount you paid reWORK for the website service giving rise to the claim during the preceding twelve months.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify reWORK TRAINING against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, material you submit, or your material breach of these terms. reWORK will provide reasonable notice and will not require indemnification for its own unlawful conduct.
13. Copyright Notices
If you believe that material on the website infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@reworktraining.org and the mailing address below. The notice should identify the protected work and disputed material, provide your contact information, state that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, state under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner, and include a physical or electronic signature.
14. Governing Law and Venue
Illinois law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that may be brought in court must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, unless applicable law requires another forum.
15. General Terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific instance. These terms and incorporated policies are the complete agreement concerning the public website, except for a separate written agreement that expressly controls.
